McMaster's Operations Leadership Essentials (OLE) course uses an industry-led approach bringing together senior business leaders to share best practices, lessons learned, tools & techniques. The OLE course enables new leaders within industry by defining their start state, aligning a development path and enhancing interpersonal skills - within an industry 4.0 environment.
This course is designed for new leaders within or entering front-line teams; or those taking on a new leadership role or looking to enhance their skills, grow their networks, build confidence and improve their team's execution efficiency.

Course Content Breakdown
8:30am - 12:00pm Est
Gain an understanding of key communication techniques to structure operations briefings, meetings and presentations.
Understand the roles & responsibilities of a mentor & mentee and how to leverage mentorship effectively.
1:00pm - 4:30pm Est
Learn how to utilize micro-mentorship & coaching actions on a day-to-day basis to drive accountability and increase autonomy within your teams.
Learn leadership fundamentals directly from senior industry leaders needed to enhance team and operations resilience.
Learn directly from senior industry leaders on the Operations Leadership Essentials Course. Through our leadership panellist discussion, you will learn firsthand insights and management best practices.
Participants should have relevant work experience or education in their industry field; a college or university education is an asset but not required.

Southern Ontario Aerospace Subsidy Initiative
