The Advanced Operations Management course will equip candidates with the competencies and strategies needed to scale industry 4.0 operations.
Participants will focus on intent-based strategic execution, lean manufacturing techniques, sustainability, contingency planning, risk & financial management, cyber-security, forecasting & foreplanning, and auditing. Candidates will be able to assess, maneuver, and scale an industry business unit.

Learning Objectives

Gain an understanding of intent-based execution at work center/department level, scaling principles and best practices utilizing LEAN Manufacturing techniques, and Industry Business Unit Scaling Strategies.

Participants will focus on securing operational continuity & audit preparation, an introduction to cyber-security principles, quality, cost and risk scaling strategies as well as principles of forecasting and foreplanning.

Participants will be introduced to scaling an industry business unit from a quality and logistics function, execution of a temporary supply chain, sustainability management, contingency planning, succession planning, and driving an organizational culture to pivot or scale an industry business unit.

Module 1

Gain an understanding of intent-based strategic execution and how to adopt it within your organization.

Learn how to utilize the LEAN Methodology to scale an industry business unit.

Understand specific strategies to both scale up and scale down an industry business unit.

Gain an understanding of how to secure operational continuity and incorporate best practices to prepare for an audit.
Module 2

Understand the landscape of cyber security and how to develop a framework within your organization to manage cyber security threats.

Understand how to scale an industry business unit through a quality function.

Learn firsthand best practices and principles to incorporate risk and financial management during scaling operations.

Understand how forecasting and foreplanning are adopted within an industry business unit.

Understand how to stand up and execute a temporary supply chain.

Develop an understanding of how to develop and incorporate a sustainability framework building on the principles of a circular economy.

Develop a framework to anticipate and execute contingencies building on the principles of intent-based execution.

Participants should have relevant work experience in their industry field; a college or university education is an asset but not required.

Option 1: IOLM Program Participant
Industry Mentorship Program | Six Certificates
Most participants/businesses and organizations enroll as an IOLM Program Participant. The participants complete all five courses and enroll in the Group Mentorship Program.

Letter of Recognition: Recieve a Letter of Recognition outlining the skills and capabilities taught. As well any mentee with a 10% or higher performance improvement are noted as demonstrating potential as a high talent member.
Sixth Certificate: Participants who complete the IOLM program will obtain a sixth certificate - Industry Operations Leadership & Management in addition to the five awarded for each course.
Option 2: Per Course
Complete one or more the IOLM courses in any order you wish. Course participants will not be enrolled under the Group Mentorship Program. A single Micro-Credential Certificate will be awarded for each course completed.
